Independent project / Java Edition
Minecraft.
With Voxel.
Voxel Client is an independently developed Windows launcher and Fabric client for Minecraft: Java Edition, created by Connor Welge. It brings together instance management, local mod management, a customizable HUD and quality-of-life features.
What Voxel does
- Separate game instances with their own files and settings.
- 13 configurable HUD modules, including FPS, coordinates, compass, armor and keystrokes.
- An in-game HUD layout editor, smooth zoom and configurable key bindings.
- A focused desktop launcher with local mod controls.
Authentication and game ownership
Users sign in through Microsoft's browser-based authentication flow. Voxel never asks for Microsoft passwords. The launcher is designed to verify Minecraft: Java Edition entitlement and retrieve the player's profile through Minecraft Services before enabling gameplay.
Refresh tokens are kept in the operating system's credential store. Voxel does not provide an offline identity as a substitute for authentication or ownership checks, and does not distribute Minecraft game files in its package.
Current status: in development
Microsoft, Xbox Live and XSTS authentication have been reached in a user test. Minecraft Services currently rejects the subsequent token exchange with HTTP 403. Application approval and a complete authenticated game launch are not yet confirmed. There is no public download available at this stage.
